Application to Town Commission (TCOM)

The Town Commission reviews applications for Variances, Special Exceptions, Site Plans, Zoning Text and/or Map Amendments, Comprehensive Plan Amendments, Planned Unit Developments (PUD) or PUD Amendments, and Paver Agreements. The Town Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the Town Hall Commission Chambers.

All applications to the Town Commission shall be submitted electronically via the online portal referenced below.

TCOM Application Fee Schedule

Application for Variance ($2000) 

Variance. A modification from the literal interpretation of the provisions, other than those provisions relating to use requirements, subject to the procedures governing variances as established by the Town.                                                     

Application for Special Exception ($1000)

A Special Exception in is a zoning approval granted by the Town Commission that allows a specific use listed in the zoning code after review of its impacts on the surrounding area and the public interest.

Application fee for site plan review ($1000)

Application fee for zoning text and/or map amendment ($2,500)

Application fee for comprehensive plan amendment ($2500.00)

Application fee for Planned Unit Development or PUD Amendment ($1500.00)

Application fee for paver agreement ($500.00)

Application fee for MMOA (Maintenance Memorandum of Agreement) ($500.00)

Projects requiring extensive review or involving multiple correction-request, resubmittals will be subject to an additional fee of $100.00 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments, in addition to the base fee listed above.
