The Town Manager is the Chief Administrative Officer for the Town and is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the day-to-day operations of the Town.
The Town Manager implements policies established by the Town Commission, recommends actions to the Mayor and Commission, and prepares and submits the proposed annual budget as well as the capital improvement program to the Town Commission.
Eric Marmer was named Town Manager at the September 24, 2024 Town Commission meeting. Eric brings extensive experience in public administration and a deep connection to the community. His background in finance and administration has equipped him to lead with a focus on operational excellence and community collaboration. Eric is dedicated to fostering a well-functioning administration that prioritizes resident needs, ensuring Manalapan remains a desirable and well-run community.
