Town of Manalapan – Tropical Wave Community Safety Update

As part of our ongoing commitment to community safety and preparedness, the Town of Manalapan is closely monitoring Tropical Wave (Invest Area 94L), which has the potential to develop into Hurricane Imelda. Currently, confidence in its path remains low due to the close proximity of Tropical Storm Humberto. It is too early to determine what, if any, impacts may occur in South Florida.

The Town is in continuous communication with Emergency Management partners at the county and regional level. Resources and response teams are on standby should activation be required and we are actively reviewing preparedness and response plans to ensure we are ready to act swiftly if needed.

What You Can Do –

  • Stay alert to weather updates from the Town and official emergency management agencies.
  • Make sure your hurricane kits and plans are in place in case conditions change.
  • Ensure we have your best contact information so we can reach you quickly in the event of an emergency. If you are not already signed up for CodeRED, please do so as soon as possible.

We will continue to monitor the situation and share timely updates as conditions evolve. Please watch for additional communications from the Town of Manalapan via CodeRED, and do not hesitate to reach out to Town Hall with any questions or concerns.

Together, we can ensure our community remains safe and prepared.
