Early this morning, the Town of Manalapan experienced an electrical malfunction at its re-pump station. As a result, the Town is issuing a precautionary Boil Water Notice for all residents effective immediately.

 As a safety measure, all residents are advised to boil all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. Water should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one (1) minute before use. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.

This notice is precautionary and will remain in effect until further notice, pending satisfactory results from bacteriological testing to ensure the water is safe for consumption.

Residents will be notified once the boil water advisory has been lifted.
