Building Department
The Building Department oversees all building related services including plan review, architectural review, business tax receipts, permitting and certificates of occupancy.  These services help to ensure the public safety by verifying proper construction of and zoning requirements for the Town of Manalapan.

The Building Department also provides technical advisory assistance to the general public, land development professionals, governmental agencies, and others regarding land development regulations, site planning principles and administrative interpretations.

Inspections are to be called in Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. for next day inspections.  Please have ready Permit #, address, and type.  Any inspections called in after 4:00 p.m. will be the following day.

ANY person, firm or business must have a business registration to do any work in town.  This registration is obtained at Town Hall and should be secured prior to beginning any work.  Registration is a simple process that requires a company to have a Palm Beach County Business Tax Receipt and a vehicle decal.  Please contact Town Clerk Lisa Petersen at 561-383-2541 or Town Hall at 561-585-9477 with any questions.
